What We Do

Bridging the gap between a family in crisis and the specialized care their child needs. Through Bridge to Healing children ages 2-18 receive trama-informed therapeutic services regardless of their family’s financial situation. Families contribute a small co-pay, reflecting the belief that healing is a shared journey that every family deserves access to high-quality care with dignity.

Specialized Care for Complex Childhood Trauma

Our team is uniquely trained to work with children who have endured trauma such as grief, physical, sexual, or emotional abuse, self-harm, neglect, parental abandonment, or time spent in foster and kinship care.

When a child and their family receives timely, trauma-informed care:

  • Children learn to regulate emotions, build trust, and feel safe In relationships.

  • Parents and caregivers feel equipped and less alone. Families move from crisis towards stability.

  • Schools and community partners respond to trauma with greater skill and compassion.

  • Children carry a strong foundation Into every stage of life.

Bridge to Healing

We don’t just treat the child, we equip the whole family. Our clinicians involve caregivers at every step, equipping caregivers with tools to understand trauma, respond with confidence, and create stability at hone.

  • Caregivers participate in the 12-week Breaking the Cycle program, receive trauma-informed parenting education, and gain practical tools to strengthen relationships and support their child's growth. By engaging caregivers as active partners in the healing process, we help build stronger family connections and create lasting change.

Prevention and Community Education

Poppy Grove

Some children have never known a safe home. For the children Dawn Childhood Foundation serves, home has often been a place of uncertainty, fear, or pain.

Poppy Grove changes that.

We are creating a therapeutic home, a warm, Intentionally designed space where children and families experience safety from the moment they arrive. Not a clinic. Not an office. A home. One that says, without a single word:

You are safe. You belong here. You can heal here.

Be The Reason a Child Feels Safe

Poppy Grove Is more than a building campaign. It Is a commitment to every child who walks through the door, that healing belongs to them too.

We would love to share more with your personally and explore how your partnership can leave a lasting mark on the lives of children and families for generations to come!
